I’m an independent consultant helping cultural organisations develop and build their digital collections. As an experienced leader delivering digital transformation in archive, library and cultural heritage contexts, my background and expertise spans digital library strategy and implementation, digitisation, digital preservation, and copyright management.

At Wellcome Collection, I led the growth of the digitisation programme from small, discreet projects to large-scale mass digitisation. This included building the teams, processes, and systems needed to create and manage tens of millions of images and audiovisual files. The work depended on close collaboration with collections specialists, conservators, photographers, suppliers, legal experts, product managers, and software developers. I built inclusive, resilient teams where people’s skills and contributions were respected.

I am passionate about helping organisations use technology to meet their mission-driven objectives. My experiences working with organisations of different sizes nationally and internationally - through major collaborations, focused partnerships, and sharing insights around common challenges - continues to inspire me. It has given me a deep respect for the sector, and for its potential to create lasting value for society. My goal is to help organisations and their teams work confidently in the digital space, whether they are taking their first steps or planning ambitious change.
