Leveraging over a decade of collaboration with digital agencies, product managers, and engineering teams, I advise organisations on navigating small or large-scale systems transformation. I offer the strategic perspective, networks, and structured guidance required to take digital collections from early-stage discovery and MVP testing to mature digital products.
How I support leadership and teams:
- Infrastructure Transformation: Advise on modernizing digital library architectures, for example by supporting businesses transitioning from on-premises to cloud storage, and building scalable pipelines for digitisation including OCR.
- End-to-End Migration: Develop frameworks and provide oversight for system transitions, demonstrated by leading a picture library migration of 150,000 images from requirements gathering, to implementation, to establishing new ways of working.
- Interoperability and Digital Experience: Provide guidance on implementing open standards (such as IIIF) and digital viewers to maximize audience engagement and institutional impact.
- Operational Alignment and Tooling: Advise on selecting and embedding workflow tools (like monday.com and Quickbase) to align cross-functional teams and external suppliers and improve collaboration.
